Online advertised job vacancies have increased 59,000 so far this month to 4.3 million nationwide following a 57,100 decline in August, according to The Conference Board.

The Conference Board is a nonprofit global business organization that connects more than 1,300 corporations in nearly 60 nations that regularly releases a Help Wanted Online report.

The report indicated that the online job demand increased by 1 million, or about 30 percent, since the "official end" of the recession in June 2009.

Demand in September rose for workers in computer and math science, transportation and material moving, architecture and engineering. Demand declined for sales and related workers, health care practitioners and technical jobs, according to the report.
