| Posted: 27 Oct 2010 07:52 PM PDT Computer training starts soon Online job application and basic computer training will be held beginning November 2 at the Holly Springs Regional Technology Center. It is located at 1180 Highway 311, next to the Holly Springs Funeral Home. Classes are scheduled for November 2-5 and November 9-12, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Each class must contain a minimum of 10 participants. The classes will cover basic computer operation, including establishing an online connection using e-mail and applying for jobs online. Those job applications will include positions at Toyota and all of its suppliers. The classes will also cover jobs posted on the Mississippi Department of Employment Security's on-line application system. To participate in the classes, register with the Marshall-Benton WIN Job Center located at 1455-A Rust Avenue, Holly Springs. It is located behind the Rust College Families First office. The phone number for the WIN Job Center is 662-252-7893. Those interested in getting a job with any of the companies creating jobs in the area must complete an application online and have an e-mail address so the employer can communicate with the applicant. The training is offered by Northwest Mississippi Community College, in partnership with the Holly Springs Regional Technology Center.
