| Job outsourcing database to be unveiled Thursday Posted: 06 Oct 2010 01:33 PM PDT WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The AFL-CIO on Thursday will launch an online database that details job loss, safety violations and discrimination cases searchable by zip code. The union said the first-of-its-kind database will be the largest publicly available and fully searchable database, housing information on more than 400,000 corporations and subsidiaries, including details on which have shipped American jobs overseas and allegedly violated workers' rights.
